Parents will be asked to wait until a second leader is present. In extreme cases where no other leader is available the session will be cancelled. Where possible children will be notified with a phone call as soon as possible.

  2. When children reach the age of 9 they can remain in the group if they wish, if there is no waiting list.  In this instance they may stay in the group until their 10th birthday or until the group reaches maximum capacity, in which case they may stay until the end of the current school term.  When there is a waiting list and a child reaches the age of 9 they will be allowed to stay until the end of the school term within which their birthday falls.  Children leaving the Elfin group will be given details of all the local Pioneer groups and given a graduation ceremony which parents will also be invited to attend.

  3. Siblings will be allocated a place within BWF provided there is no waiting list.  In the event of a waiting list being in place the siblings will be added to list as normal.

  4. Children will be invited to attend a taster session before fully committing to membership.  This only applies if helper numbers allow, and will normally need to be arranged beforehand.  Parents will be required to fill in an emergency contact sheet.  This is a non chargeable session.

  5. When children join BWF parents will be required to fill in and promptly return a starter pack.
